About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous Aircraft Cabin Maintenance Technician to join their team in Polokwane . This role focuses on ensuring the comfort, safety, and aesthetic appeal of aircraft cabins, working in a hybrid capacity that may involve both on-site and remote coordination. You will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and refurbishment of cabin interiors, including seats, galleys, lavatories, and entertainment systems.
Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will be crucial in maintaining the passenger experience and complying with aviation regulations within the Limpopo province. This position is integral to the passenger-facing aspects of the Aviation industry.
- Inspect aircraft cabin interiors for wear, damage, or operational issues, including seating, carpets, overhead bins, galleys, and lavatories.
- Perform repairs and refurbishment to cabin components, ensuring materials and finishes meet aviation standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair in-flight entertainment systems, lighting, and power outlets within the cabin.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation safety and cabin certification regulations.
- Coordinate with other maintenance teams and departments to schedule cabin work effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of all cabin maintenance and repair activities.
- Previous experience in aircraft cabin maintenance, interior repair, or a related field.
- Proficiency in working with various cabin materials and repair techniques.
- Understanding of aircraft cabin systems, including IFE, lighting, and galley equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and maintenance manuals.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills, suitable for a hybrid work environment.
