Sanitation Team Lead - Manufacturing

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sanitation Team Lead to guide their sanitation operations within a busy manufacturing facility in Polokwane . This role is vital for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring product integrity and regulatory compliance. You will lead a team of sanitation technicians, develop and implement cleaning schedules, manage resources, and ensure all safety protocols are rigorously followed.

• Lead, train, and supervise a team of sanitation technicians , ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality performance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor detailed cleaning and sanitation schedules for all production areas and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all company hygiene standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies, ensuring appropriate stock levels and safe storage.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to uphold sanitation standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for sanitation-related issues and collaborate with production and quality assurance teams.

• Previous experience in industrial sanitation , with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning agents, sanitation equipment, and disinfection procedures.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant safety standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Polokwane .
