Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee a key production line at their facility in Polokwane . This role requires strong leadership capabilities to manage a team of operators, ensure efficient workflow, and maintain high standards of product quality and safety. You will be responsible for monitoring production targets, identifying and resolving operational issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in production management and a commitment to fostering a productive and safe working environment, playing a vital role in the operational success of the plant.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production operators to achieve daily output targets.
- Monitor production performance, identify deviations from schedule, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and company policies on the shop floor.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Train new team members on production procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to resolve issues affecting production.
- Significant experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Lead in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of production processes, workflow optimization, and quality control measures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Operations Management or a related field is preferred.
