About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Officer to ensure the highest standards of product quality within their FMCG operations in Polokwane . This role is essential for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality control protocols throughout the production process. You will conduct inspections, monitor quality parameters, and implement corrective actions to guarantee product integrity and consumer safety.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of QA principles in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment and is dedicated to upholding excellence in quality assurance from the lab to the final product.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and procedures for FMCG products.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure compliance with HACCP and other relevant food safety standards.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare quality reports and documentation for regulatory bodies and internal management.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and other departments to address quality issues and implement improvements.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, preferably in the FMCG or food industry.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with quality testing methods and laboratory procedures.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
