About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing operations in Polokwane. This role is essential for ensuring that all finished products meet the company's high standards for quality and consistency before they are dispatched to customers. You will perform detailed inspections, conduct tests, and document findings, working closely with the production team to address any deviations.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of quality control procedures, and a commitment to upholding product integrity in a busy production environment.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
- Perform standardized tests and measurements using various inspection tools and equipment.
- Document inspection results accurately, reporting any non-conforming products or processes.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to identify and resolve quality issues on the shop floor.
- Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with quality control procedures and standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to process enhancements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade qualification is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role within manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and understanding technical drawings.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in Polokwane.
