About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Systems Engineer to strengthen their quality assurance framework in Polokwane . This role is instrumental in establishing, maintaining, and improving the company's quality management systems to ensure adherence to industry standards and customer expectations. You will lead initiatives focused on quality control, process validation, and regulatory compliance, playing a critical role in upholding product integrity and operational excellence.
This position offers a significant opportunity to influence quality standards within a key industrial region of Limpopo .
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Lead internal and external quality audits, identify non-conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process improvement.
- Manage the document control system, ensuring all quality-related documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Develop and implement quality training programs for personnel across various departments.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure new products and processes meet quality standards from design to launch.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical) or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality engineering or quality systems management.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management standards like ISO 9001 and relevant industry-specific regulations.
- Proven experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA systems.
- Strong auditing skills and experience in managing internal and external audits.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
