About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Sales Team Lead to guide their sales associates and drive performance in their Polokwane store. This leadership role focuses on motivating the sales team, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring operational excellence to meet sales targets. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive sales culture, providing coaching, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for every customer.

- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of retail sales associates to achieve individual and store sales goals.
- Drive sales performance through effective sales strategies, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
- Oversee daily store operations, including customer service, sales transactions, and visual merchandising standards.
- Assist in training new team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service protocols.
- Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Ensure a welcoming and positive store environment for both customers and staff.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to resolve customer issues effectively.
- Familiarity with retail operations, POS systems, and sales reporting.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in the Polokwane area.
