Hospital Inventory Clerk — Sap & Stock Control

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and organized Retail Inventory Clerk to manage stock and ensure accuracy within their retail operations in Polokwane
. This role is critical for maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting efficient store operations. You will be responsible for tracking stock movements, conducting regular inventory counts, and assisting with replenishment orders. • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Update inventory management systems with received stock, transfers, and adjustments.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
• Assist with stock replenishment orders based on inventory levels and sales data.
• Organize and maintain stockroom cleanliness and efficiency.

• Previous experience in inventory management, stock control, or a similar role within a retail environment.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move stock, and stand for extended periods as required for the Polokwane store operations.
