Our client, responsible for security operations at a major airport in Polokwane , is seeking a vigilant and experienced Aviation Security Supervisor . This role involves overseeing a team of security personnel to ensure the highest levels of safety and security for passengers, staff, and assets. You will be instrumental in implementing and enforcing security protocols, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment within the airport premises.

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of aviation security staff, providing direction and support.
• Ensure strict adherence to all national and international aviation security regulations and airport policies.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of airport facilities to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and airport management.
• Train and mentor security personnel on best practices, procedures, and the use of security equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and investigations, preparing reports as required.

• Proven experience in aviation security or a related law enforcement/security management role.
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision skills.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation security principles, threat assessment, and risk management.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure during critical situations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
• Must possess or be able to obtain relevant security clearances and certifications required for airport operations in Polokwane .
