Virtual Childcare Consultant - Parent Support

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and empathetic Virtual Childcare Consultant to provide remote support and guidance to parents across South Africa. In this role, you will offer expert advice on various aspects of childcare, child development, and parenting strategies via video calls, phone, and email. You will help parents navigate common challenges, establish effective routines, and foster positive parent-child relationships.

This position requires a strong background in early childhood development and exceptional communication skills, enabling you to provide personalized, practical, and supportive solutions to families from the comfort of your own home.

• Provide virtual consultations to parents on topics such as infant care, toddler behavior, sleep training, and feeding.
• Develop personalized parenting plans and strategies based on individual family needs and goals.
• Offer guidance on age-appropriate developmental milestones and activities for children from birth to age 5.
• Educate parents on positive discipline techniques and effective communication strategies.
• Create and share resources, articles, and tips to support parents in their childcare journey.
• Maintain accurate records of consultations and client progress.

• Degree or certification in Early Childhood Education , Child Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in childcare, parenting support, or early intervention.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using video conferencing tools and other virtual communication platforms.
• Empathetic, patient, and non-judgmental approach to supporting parents.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote client base effectively.
