About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Mobile App Developer with expertise in both iOS and Android development to join their innovative team in Polokwane . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality mobile applications that meet user needs and business objectives. This role involves working across the full mobile development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional mobile experiences. This is a key position for driving mobile innovation within the company.
- Design, build, and maintain advanced mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, technologies, and platform updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mobile app development (iOS and/or Android).
- Proficiency in native development languages (Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android) or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter).
- Experience with mobile app architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of the mobile development lifecycle, app store submission processes, and APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment in Polokwane .
