Our client is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Developer with strong UI/UX expertise to join their vibrant product development team in Polokwane . You will be instrumental in crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces for their flagship web applications. This role requires a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of modern frontend frameworks, and the ability to translate complex requirements into seamless user experiences.
Working within a hybrid model, you'll collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to bring innovative ideas to life and elevate the user journey.
- Develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional, interactive web components.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience across all devices.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best practices in frontend development.
- Stay informed about the latest frontend trends and implement innovative solutions to enhance user engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development .
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for creating user-centered designs.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
