About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver to manage the transportation of goods across Limpopo and surrounding regions. This role is critical for maintaining supply chains and ensuring the efficient movement of products. You will be responsible for operating large trucks, adhering to delivery schedules, and ensuring the safe handling of cargo. The ideal candidate is experienced, possesses a strong work ethic, and is committed to upholding safety standards in the transport industry, contributing to our client's operational success in Polokwane .

• Operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport various types of goods, ensuring proper loading, securing, and timely delivery.
• Perform routine checks on the vehicle, including brakes, tires, lights, and engine systems, reporting any issues.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance documentation.
• Adhere to strict schedules while maintaining flexibility for route adjustments.
• Ensure all cargo is handled with care and delivered in optimal condition.

• Valid professional driver's license (Code 14/EC with PDP).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience driving HGVs.
• A clean driving record with no major violations.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform necessary loading/unloading tasks.
