Inter- Freight Driver

Our client seeks a diligent Inter-City Freight Driver to join their expanding transport division, operating primarily within Limpopo and surrounding provinces. This role requires an individual comfortable with extended driving hours and responsible for the timely and secure transportation of goods between major hubs. You will be the key person ensuring the integrity of the cargo from pickup to delivery, adhering to stringent safety and operational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a robust understanding of long-haul logistics, and a commitment to punctuality and reliability for our client's operations in the northern region.

• Operate a commercial freight vehicle safely and efficiently over long distances.
• Transport goods securely between cities and provinces, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of the vehicle before, during, and after trips.
• Maintain accurate driving logs, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and protected throughout the journey.
• Adhere to all national road safety regulations and company policies.

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with valid PRDP.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in long-distance or inter-city freight transport.
• Proven track record of safe driving and adherence to regulations.
• Good knowledge of major routes within Limpopo and neighboring provinces.
• Ability to manage fatigue and maintain focus during extended driving periods.
