Warehouse Inventory Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records at their facility in Polokwane . This role is critical for ensuring the integrity of stock levels, optimizing storage, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize errors and stock adjustments.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, precise, and possesses a strong understanding of inventory control systems within a busy logistics environment.

• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain and update inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status, including slow-moving or obsolete items.
• Ensure proper organization and labeling of inventory within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with operations teams to support efficient receiving, put-away, and picking processes.

• Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or a related warehouse role.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical inventory checks and operate relevant equipment.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
