Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Echocardiology, the Senior Echocardiology Technologist performs Echo cardiographic procedures, assists physicians as required, and does related work as assigned. The Senior Echocardiology Technologist also preceptors echo students and is responsible for orienting new staff to the Echo department.

• Coursework/Training:
  Must have successfully completed a formal training program or equivalent in Echocardiology and demonstrate ability to complete competency in Echocardiography.
• Upon hire:
  National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or
• Upon hire:
  National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years experience as clinical technologist, or two (2) years as a registered technologist.

• Coursework/Training:
  Must have successfully completed a formal training program or equivalent in Echocardiology and demonstrate ability to complete competency in Echocardiography.

Pay Range: $38.15 - $59.22 per hour.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
