• Substitute position
• 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, 4 days per week
• 16 hours per week

• 18 hours per week, with the possibility of 5-10 additional hours per week within 30 days by working with our virtual contracts.

• $22 per hour standard
• $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
• $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor

• Provide academic support in ELA to K-6th grade students, with an emphasis on:
  • Foundational Sound Awareness
  • Decoding and Blending
  • Core Phonics Rules and Patterns
• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

• Have 1–2 years of prior tutoring experience (required)
• Have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• Can provide 3 professional references
• Have reliable transportation
• Can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• Are detail-oriented, highly dependable, and an effective communicator
