The Senior Specialist supports the successful execution of SCE substation and transmission projects by providing analytical, systems, and project coordination support
. This role partners closely with Project Managers
, internal cross‑functional teams, and external customer stakeholders to ensure projects are licensed, engineered, procured, and constructed efficiently.

• Support Project Managers managing capital infrastructure projects from initiation through execution.
• Perform analytical functions to support construction and execution of substation, sub‑transmission, and transmission projects across SCE territory.
• Gather, document, analyze, and draw conclusions from complex data sets.
• Define system scope and objectives under general direction.
• Develop or modify procedures to solve moderately to highly complex problems
  , considering system constraints and desired outcomes.
• Prepare detailed technical and functional specifications.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document application programs as required.
• Interface directly with external customer project managers and technical teams to coordinate activities and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Provide guidance and training to junior analysts and programmers.
• May be responsible for completing specific phases of a project.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in an analytical or systems role
• Strong experience using databases and spreadsheet tools
• Demonstrated ability to:
• Support multiple projects simultaneously
• Work independently under general direction
• Experience supporting Project Managers through full project lifecycle
• Infrastructure construction experience (electrical preferred)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
