Senior Engineer V

Job Summary (List Format) :

• Manage and develop new projects after completion of data collection research and analysis.
• Conduct active research to design new projects and propose improvements to existing processes affecting business operations.
• Prepare and present innovative ideas to enhance current business processes.
• Research collect and analyze data to support strategic decision-making for new project developments.
• Utilize technical expertise to support engineering design projects specifically in transmission and / or distribution line engineering.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering codes and guidelines (California GO95 NESC ASCE).
• Apply proficiency in engineering software such as PLS-CADD PLS-Pole and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

• Bachelors (or Masters) degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• California Civil PE License is required.
• Minimum of seven years of technical experience in transmission and / or distribution line engineering design for electric utilities.
• Experience with Electric Utility Distribution and Transmission Systems.
• Knowledge and application of California GO95 NESC and ASCE codes and guidelines.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD PLS-Pole and AutoCAD.
• (Desired) Experience with PLS-Caisson and SPIDAcalc software.
