As the ERP Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business processes and technology solutions by analyzing business needs, facilitating ERP implementations and upgrades, and optimizing ERP system functionality. This critical role in the IT department involves working closely with cross‑functional internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the successful integration and utilization of the ERP system to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational goals.
Responsibilities- Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives and that they can be addressed by the ERP system. - System Configuration and Customization:
Configure and customize the ERP system to meet business needs, including defining workflows, data models, and security settings, and ensuring the system is tailored to optimize business processes. - Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop test plans, conduct testing, and oversee the validation of ERP modules and configurations to verify that they function correctly and meet user requirements. - Training and Change Management:
Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they understand how to effectively use the ERP system. Develop change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and user adoption. - Continuous Improvement:
Continuously monitor and evaluate the ERP system’s performance and its impact on business operations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes.
