Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a current CA RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in the Intensive Care Unit of an acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
- Level II Trauma Center
- Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30)
- Floating within scope required to other ICU or Telemetry units as needed
- Cerner charting system used; prior experience preferred
- Weekend shifts are required
- No on-call responsibilities
- No block scheduling available
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a Level II Trauma environment
- Must submit all time off requests prior to offer; up to 5 days and 1 holiday off permitted
- Scrub attire should not include camouflage or character patterns
- Free parking available for staff
- Holiday coverage required as assigned
- Active CA RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- First-time travelers accepted
