Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Pomona, CA | Acute Care Hospital

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform vaginal exams and deliver hands-on baby care throughout the labor and delivery process
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns using advanced fetal monitoring techniques
• Support patients across a range of birth volumes, from fewer than 100 to more than 300 births
• Fulfill weekend requirements of 2 weekends every 6 weeks, which may include Fridays on night shift
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records

• Active, valid RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS certification required
• AWHONN Advanced certification required
• NRP Advanced certification required (must include all 11 components)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification required
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

• Experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or trauma center environment
• Familiarity with high-volume Labor and Delivery units
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system

• Work within a prestigious Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 412 staffed beds
• Enjoy free on-site parking and an expected schedule of 36 hours per week in a structured night shift contract
