The Floating General Manager will manage all aspects of store operations, including store revenue, safety, security, customer service, and state and federal compliance.

Where You’ll Be
  • This position is on‑site with a flexible schedule Monday‑Saturday.
  • It is a store‑front position; please check the job posting for city and state specifics before submitting your application.
  • The role is floating and requires flexibility to work at any assigned location as needed. The Floating General Manager will manage operations at any store they are asked to support.
  • The pay range is $16.41 – $20.10.
  • The role is eligible for an uncapped monthly performance‑based bonus.
Who You Are

The Floating General Manager will have a passion for customer service, a background in lease management or a similar field, and a reputation for being goal‑orientated. The position reports directly to the Regional Director.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Ensure the store is open, closed, and secured each business day.
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives through unit rentals, insurance protection, and retail sales of in‑store products.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
  • Coach and lead teammates to meet or exceed company KPI goals.
  • Train employees on safety practices and policies and enforce compliance.
  • Foster an environment of accountability for customer service; resolve customer concerns, work orders, and repair requests.
  • Manage payment processing, handle cash, balance receipts, and deliver bank deposits accurately and on time.
  • Manage the security of company assets, equipment functionality and repair, and cleanliness of company grounds.
  • Ensure products are ordered, received, stocked, priced, and displayed in a timely manner.
  • Partner with the auction vendor and Regional Director throughout the auction process, including handling collection calls and notices, preparing for auctions, buyer payout processes, and preparing units for new tenants.
Essential Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance with reliable transportation for travel to vendors and other worksites during the workday.
  • If the employee owns a motor vehicle it must be insured.
  • Strong ability to multi‑task and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Ability to perform indoors and outdoors under adverse environmental conditions, noise extremes, and chemical or traffic hazards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business management or related fields.
  • 2–3 years of related experience in retail, real estate, rental property management, logistics and transportation, e‑commerce, construction, insurance, or hospitality and housekeeping.

Hourly Pay Range: $15.22 – $18.27 hourly (eligible to participate in the company incentive bonus program).
