Application Engineer

As an Application Engineer, you will collaborate with the Business Unit Manager and Business Development Manager to develop and execute strategic plans aimed at winning new business. Your role will involve tracking business opportunities, serving as the primary customer interface, and building strong relationships to influence purchase decisions.

• Manage the new business pipeline and drive opportunities through the funnel with the Business Unit Manager and sales team.
• Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, conventions, conferences, and seminars to maintain customer contact, increase brand exposure, and publicize new products and services.
• Meet with customers to understand their requirements, assist in specification development, share technical information, and promote the value of the company and its products.
• Develop an understanding of each account, including contacts, current product needs, future requirements, procurement, and selection process.
• Provide written trip reports and meeting minutes as necessary.
• Plan and organize travel schedule using a Time and Territory Management tool.
• Contribute to sales forecasting, annual and long‑term business planning, and product line strategy development.
• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as requested by the Business Unit Manager and Vice President of Sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience in New Product Development, Design, and Testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• 3‑6 years of experience within manufacturing.

• Experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience in aerospace or space industries.
• Sales or applications experience.
• Proficiency in customer‑facing roles.

This role is based in an onsite environment with 35% travel required both internationally and domestically. You will attend trade shows and visit client facilities. There is flexibility to not be in the office if travel plans are in place. This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact space exploration with cutting‑edge products applied to satellites and aircraft.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deerfield Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $57.69 – $72.11/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
