Overview

Responsibilities
  • Check-in/Check-out: ensure guests are checked in/out in a timely manner; contact guests after check-in to ensure their room is satisfactory and there is nothing else required to make their stay more comfortable.
  • Guest Relations: greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile; use guests’ names whenever possible.
  • Guest Satisfaction: all team members work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores.
  • Recovery: handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency.
  • Hotel Knowledge: have strong knowledge of all features of the hotel facility and amenities.
  • Events: be aware of and support all groups and events at the hotel.
  • Technology: understand relevant technology for the role.
  • Phone Etiquette: answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting.
  • Spotless Cleanliness and Organization: keep front and back-of-house areas clean and well-organized; pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed.
  • Product Consistency & Quality: follow checklists accurately and ensure 100% accuracy; complete shift handover reports on time.
  • Uniform and Professionalism: wear a clean, approved uniform; be well-groomed and wear a nametag while greeting guests with a smile.
  • Teamwork & Communication: communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally; be willing to go beyond traditional duties to meet guest and business needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to work well under pace and pressure.
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • Hospitality and guest service mindset.
  • Age 18 years or older.
  • Willingness to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Punctual clock-in/clock-out; break adherence; notify supervisor when calling out.
  • Physical ability to stand, type, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the hotel.
  • English language proficiency for reading, writing, and communication.
