Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Repair Manager based in Pompano Beach, FL. The repair manager oversees repair operations to ensure equipment and machinery are maintained and restored efficiently, safely, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise repair staff and assign work orders
- Ensure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
- Manage repair schedules, parts inventory, and documentation
- Mentor and train repair team members
- Analyze repair processes and implement efficiency improvements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance, service, or repair experience within the elevator industry required
- Must reside in or near Pompano Beach, Florida
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of elevator systems, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and industry safety standards
- Ability to effectively supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and mechanics
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and address service concerns
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage schedules, and respond effectively to urgent maintenance issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations and safety requirements
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel regularly to customer sites and field locations
