CNC Programmer

Job Summary: CNC Programmer/Set-Up

Pompano Precision Products is a growing and busy AS9100D/ISO 13485/ITAR precision machine shop. We operate Citizen Swiss CNC machines, DMG Mori, and HAAS 5‑Axis mills.

• Program and assist in setting up 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑Axis CNC mills and Swiss CNC machines.
• Process repeat orders and update all books as needed.
• Process new orders: create drawings, operation sheets, books and programs; order tools.
• Make programs and follow up on the setup and running of new programs.
• Load programs into the machine as requested by the Materials Supervisor.
• Remove programs from the machines as needed.
• Save all downloaded programs and update books accordingly.
• Work on improvements to existing jobs.
• Check and order non‑vending tools.
• Send tools for re‑grind as needed.
• Oversee problems at the mills and lathes.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate daily workflow with production management.
• Use shop‑floor inspection equipment.
