Your Day at Lowe's

As a Receiver/Stocker you keep our stores clean, presentable, and stocked. You unload incoming freight, move merchandise to the sales floor, and stock shelves. This physically demanding role requires proper lifting procedures, and you will also handle hazardous materials, replace damaged shelving, and maintain a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure products are accurately received, stocked, and replenished.
• Follow proper lifting guidelines to safely stock products on shelves.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe aisles.
• Engage customers, vendors, and associates with a positive attitude.
• Remain vigilant and report any safety or security concerns.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Oral communication skills.
• Usability of a smartphone and common retail technology.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift or similar equipment.
• Experience in a warehouse environment performing inventory handling and stocking.

Travel Requirements

No regular travel; occasional travel to meetings, training, or support neighboring stores may be required.

Working Conditions >

Work inside and outside weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. Possible exposure to constant or intermittent noise and moving or shaking objects. Lifting methods are limited to 75 lbs single lifts and team lifts starting at 75 lbs.
