We're looking for an Account Executive who thrives on ownership. You'll manage a book of approximately 20 clients, serving as their primary point of contact and the person responsible for their success.

About the Role

This isn't a passive account management role—you'll be on weekly calls with every client, proactively solving problems before they escalated, and building relationships that drive retention and growth.

Our clients are small business owners who've made a significant investment in our recruiting services. They're counting on us to deliver hires quickly. When you do your job well, their businesses grow. When you don't, they leave. That direct line between your effort and client outcomes is what makes this role challenging—and rewarding.

What You'll Do

Own client relationships end-to-end. After clients complete their first 30 days with our onboarding team, they're yours. You'll conduct weekly check‑in calls with your entire book, ensuring they're getting results and addressing issues before they become problems. A consultative approach is key, so if you've ever excelled in a sales management role before, then you'll fit in great here.

Drive client retention. Our business depends on clients staying. You'll monitor client health indicators—interview volume, no‑show rates, engagement, job post performance—and intervene early when something looks off. Your compensation is directly tied to keeping your clients.

Identify and close upsell opportunities. As you build trust with clients, you'll spot opportunities to expand the relationship. You're not a hard closer, but you know how to have a consultative conversation that leads to a natural yes.

Keep meticulous records. Every client interaction gets documented. Your Click Up records and Go High Level  notes should tell the full story of each client relationship so anyone on the team could pick up where you left off.

Communicate proactively. Clients hear from you before they have to reach out. When issues arise, you're already on it. Response time to client messages is measured in hours, not days.

What Success Looks Like
  • 75%+ of your clients retain month over month
  • 100% of your client book receives a weekly check‑in call
  • All client messages receive a response within 2 hours during business hours
  • 2‑3 upsells closed per month
  • 80%+ of your clients hit their performance benchmarks
Compensation

This role is designed for high performers to earn $120,000–$150,000+ annually.

Retention Bonus:
Monthly bonus for every client retained past their first 30 days

Upsell Commission: 10% of gross on all upsells you close (average ticket $5.5k)

Client Outcome Bonus: $200 for each client who hits their 30-day performance guarantee

At target performance with 75% retention, 2‑3 upsells monthly, and strong client outcomes, you'll earn $120,000–$135,000. Top performers managing larger client books with consistent upsells will exceed $150,000.

What We're Looking For

Ownership mentality. You don't wait to be told something is wrong. You notice it, flag it, and fix it—or come with a plan.

Discipline and consistency. This role requires structured daily habits. You'll make 4‑5 client calls per day, every day. You'll update your records before you log off, every day. If you need external accountability to stay on task, this isn't the right fit.

Comfort with direct client communication. You're on video calls constantly. You can navigate a frustrated client, deliver hard news diplomatically, and keep a conversation productive…
