Business Development Representative – Disaster Restoration

Join Kustom US to apply for the Business Development Representative – Disaster Restoration role. Your compensation will be based on experience; the base pay range is $75,000 – $95,000 per year.

What You Do

As a Territory Account Executive, you are the face of Kustom in your local market. This role requires urgency, trust‑building, and a service‑first mindset. You own your territory, strengthen relationships, and build sustainable growth by:

  • Driving growth: proactively prospect through cold outreach, local networking, community involvement, referrals, and industry events; build a consistent pipeline using Salesforce; deliver solution‑based presentations; identify additional service needs across local accounts; expand opportunities within territory.
  • Building deep, trust‑based relationships: engage with decision‑makers across commercial, industrial, and residential markets; become a client’s first call when they experience property loss; represent Kustom’s values with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
  • Working closely with operations teams to ensure seamless project handoff and exceptional customer experience.
  • Partnering with estimators, project managers, and emergency response teams to support clients throughout the restoration process.
  • Bringing frontline insights to leadership on local trends, customer needs, and competitive gaps.
  • Staying ahead of the industry: monitoring local trends, competitor activity, and weather‑driven risks; identifying growth opportunities within verticals such as hospitality, healthcare, senior living, multifamily, industrial, and more.
What You Bring
  • Proactive & Driven – at least three years of proven success managing a full sales cycle and generating new business in a B2B environment.
  • Relationship‑Focused – comfortable connecting from the front desk to the C‑suite and building trust at every level.
  • Excellent Communicator – strong presentation, negotiation, and follow‑through skills.
  • Detail‑Driven & Accountable – strong CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred) with a true ownership mindset.
  • Adaptable & Resilient – able to pivot quickly when emergencies occur; disasters don’t follow business hours.
  • Committed to Learning – restoration experience is a plus, but a growth mindset matters most.
  • Ready to Mobilize – valid driver’s license required; travel primarily within assigned territory.
