Our Client is a leading commercial and architectural openings solutions company delivering industry‑leading commercial doors and hardware products and services. They help make buildings smart, aesthetically pleasing, code‑compliant, and sustainable.
The Opportunity:We're looking for a skilled Service and Installation Technician to repair and install a wide range of commercial doors and hardware systems. In this role, you'll use your expertise to recommend improvements and upgrades that enhance product functionality while delivering exceptional professionalism and customer service. You'll be trusted with maintaining your company vehicle and inventory to ensure peak performance on every job.
WhatYou'll Be Doing:
- Serve customers by analyzing work orders, investigating issues, completing repairs/installations, conducting tests, and resolving problems efficiently
- Travel to job sites to assess service and repair needs, completing work to the customer's complete satisfaction
- Proactively identify and promote opportunities for additional services, sales, and preventative maintenance contracts
- Acquire comprehensive product knowledge and pricing expertise to effectively market and sell replacement products and repair parts
- Develop and refine mechanical skills, learn new techniques, and stay current with product specifications and installation materials to meet safety standards and ensure quality workmanship
- Submit complete, accurate, and timely service and installation documentation, including work orders and timesheets
- Maintain customer confidence by keeping all service information confidential
- Keep company vehicle inventory organized, clean, and well‑maintained
- Additional duties as assigned

- Eagerness and ability to learn new products and systems
- Proven experience installing and servicing commercial doors
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable working in extreme temperatures and wet/humid conditions
- Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining focus and attention to detail
