John Knox Village is a not‑for‑profit Life Care Retirement Community offering a full range of independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care options for more than 1,000 senior residents on our 70‑acre campus in Pompano Beach.

Being a Mechanic at John Knox Village involves performing preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on all facility systems and equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will also initiate necessary repairs, maintain AHCA documentation and the facilities Task List monthly.

• 3‑5 years of maintenance and operations experience, preferably within a healthcare facility
• Strong understanding of AHCA regulations
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, HVAC, plumbing, sewage systems
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards
• Strong problem‑solving and proactive maintenance approach
• Effective communication skills
