John Knox Village is a not-for-profit Life Care Retirement Community offering a full range of independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care options for more than 1,000 senior residents on our 70-acre campus, located in Pompano Beach, convenient to major highways and transportation options.

Day to day as a Shuttle Bus Driver 8am-4 : 30pm

As a Full-Time Shuttle Bus Driver at John Knox Village of Florida, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and comfort of each passenger. You'll assist them in and out of the vehicle, securing seat belts to guarantee their safety during transit. Anticipating the needs of each individual, you will provide friendly and courteous service, ensuring their transportation requirements are met with care.

Committed to maintaining our high standards, you'll observe all traffic laws rigorously while also keeping the vehicle spotless, both inside and out.

This role allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing exceptional transportation experiences.

Would you be a great Shuttle Bus Driver 8am-4 : 30pm?

To succeed as a Full-Time Shuttle Bus Driver at John Knox Village of Florida, you'll need a combination of essential skills and qualifications. A valid CDL license with a passenger endorsement and a safe driving record are crucial for this role. With a minimum of 3 years of passenger driving experience, especially with transporting passengers in wheelchairs, you'll be well-prepared to ensure safety and comfort.

Outstanding communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with residents and address their needs. Additionally, the ability to read, write, and speak in English is vital for clear communication.

Above all, exemplary customer service skills will enable you to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, enriching the transportation experience for our community members.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• CDL license with passenger endorsement
• along with a safe driving record
• 3+ years passenger driving experience required
• with experience transporting passengers in wheelchairs
• Ability to read
