$58.56/hr – $103.06/hr

• Dispense and compound prescribed medications in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
• Review prescriptions from authorized prescribers to ensure accuracy and determine required formulations.
• Direct pharmacy staff engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
• Provide patient counseling on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Maintain quality assurance procedures, secure controlled substances, and dispose of hazardous waste.
• Enter patient, medication, and cost data into pharmacy systems and inventory records.
• Assay medications to determine identity, purity, and strength when required.
• Instruct interns and other medical personnel on pharmacy matters and teach in pharmacy college courses as appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Active registration and licensure with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy (required).
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience (2‑3 years) preferred.
