A well-established industrial services organization is seeking an experienced HSE Training Instructor to lead safety training initiatives across multiple operational sites. This role is responsible for delivering new-hire orientation, conducting annual HSE compliance retraining, and continuously improving safety training curricula. The ideal candidate will be passionate about safety, effective in classroom and hands‑on instruction, and aligned with a strong safety‑first culture.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate, schedule, and deliver HSE training programs for employees across multiple locations.
- Conduct new-hire safety orientation and annual compliance retraining.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable HSE regulations and industry standards.
- Update and enhance training materials and presentations based on regulatory and operational changes.
- Maintain accurate employee training records and databases.
- Deliver hands‑on, practical training (e.g., heavy equipment, fire extinguishers, safety procedures).
- Travel to district or regional training facilities as needed.
- Conduct training in classroom, field, and outdoor environments.
- Support additional operational and safety initiatives as assigned.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a training instructor.
- Current certifications preferred or required:
- IADC Rig Pass and/or Veriforce Safe Land / H2S Instructor
- Medic First Aid / CPR / AED Instructor
- OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 Authorized Trainer
- Equipment Operator Trainer (forklift, crane, aerial lift, etc.)
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database systems.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Ability and willingness to travel by car or air.
- Ability to wear required PPE and work in industrial environments.
- Background in hydraulic fracturing, oilfield services, or manufacturing facilities.
- Experience delivering safety training in high‑risk or regulated environments.
- Must successfully pass a background check, pre‑employment drug screen, and applicable assessments.
- Daily, predictable, in-person attendance is required.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Stable, full‑time role with a safety‑driven organization.
