Magnolia Care Companions is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nursing Assistant (CRNA) or equivalent professional caregiver with 10+ years of hands-on caregiving experience to provide compassionate overnight care for a bedbound client in Ponchatoula, LA.

The client has restricted use of the arms and requires full personal-care assistance throughout the day.

This is a temporary W-2 position supporting a single client for as long as 1-9 months. Employment may end at the client’s discretion without prior notice.

• Provide calm, attentive overnight monitoring and personal care
• Perform diaper changes
  , maintain skin integrity and hygiene
• Assist with bathing, oral care (brushing teeth), and grooming as needed
• Prepare and heat meals
  , and feed the client as needed
• Light housekeeping limited to the client's living areas and meal spaces to maintain a clean and safe environment—wiping counters, mopping kitchen or bathroom floors as needed
• Maintain a quiet, safe, and comfortable environment
• Observe and report any changes in condition to family or care coordinator
• Quiet four small dogs as you move about (dogs are penned; usually a quick squirt bottle reminder works)
• Follow established care routines and household preferences

• Active CRNA or CNA certification
• Minimum 10 years of professional caregiving or healthcare experience
• Strict No-Smoking Policy: No tobacco or smoke odor permitted on premises or during shifts
• Must love dogs

• Clean background check and verifiable professional references required
• Reliable transportation required
• Must maintain consistent overnight attendance
• Must have personal arrangements (such as reliable child care) ensuring dependable coverage
• Applicants who previously cared for client “JL” in Ponchatoula are ineligible to apply until after 2027 due to contractual restrictions with a prior provider
