SHR Talent is partnering with a regional CPA Firm based in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and Gainesville, FL in its search for an Experienced Family Office Senior. The Experienced Family Office Senior is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment and has extensive knowledge of family office services. As the Experienced Family Office Senior, you will work closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses, providing customized financial management, accounting, and advisory services.

The Experienced Family Office Senior role requires excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills, a client-service mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality as well as build trusted relationships with clients while ensuring the highest standards of service and confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive family office services including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting functions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts
  • Prepare and review complex financial statements, reconciliations, and reports
  • Assist with estate planning, wealth management, investment tracking, and philanthropic planning
  • Collaborate with tax and audit teams to ensure compliance and seamless service delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong, long-term professional relationships
  • Support client decision-making through financial analysis and tailored recommendations
  • Monitor and maintain internal controls and best practices within the family office service line
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and review of their work
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and family office best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in family office services, public accounting, or private client advisory
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, estate planning, and wealth management strategies
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar platforms
  • Experience supervising staff and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance
