Server, Server​/Wait Staff

We are looking for a friendly and efficient Server to join our team at our restaurant in Ponte Vedra Beach. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Greet and seat customers
• Take food and drink orders
• Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
• Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
• Handle customer complaints or concerns
• Upsell menu items and specials
• Process payments
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Previous experience as a Server is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to stand and sit for long periods of time and be on feet for 6 plus hours a day.

WORKING CONDITIONS
:
Works indoors, outdoors, in an office setting and in a restaurant and pool setting; varying weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, dryness and wetness.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
:
Bachelor s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or at least five years’ experience in related field or experience in similar position preferred.

EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE USED
:
Computer; printer; telephone, Jonas Managements Systems and all Food and Beverage service related equipment.

TYPICAL HOURS
:
Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday ranging from 9am to 7pm; some weekends/holiday/evenings as needed; frequent additional hours may be required during the club’s busy season.

Physical Requirements
:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to forty (40) pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
