Job Description
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and split shifts.
  • Arrive to work on time, consistently.
  • Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean and in good repair.
  • Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
  • Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings.
  • Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
  • Greet members and guests by name whenever possible.
  • Open/Close the Racquet Club.
  • Inform members of ongoing problems?
  • Relay messages to other employees.
  • Take bookings on court sheets.
  • Arrange games for members and guests requesting matches.
  • Operate cash register.
  • Control cash register contents and fill out appropriate forms.
  • Post all charges to appropriate account.
  • Turn in accounts to Accounting at the end of the shift.
  • Perform and follow up on all duties assigned by the Tennis Director.
    • Job Requirements
    • Previous high quality customer service skills preferred. Merchandising, computer skills, and general cashiering duties experience helpful.
    • Able to read, write and speak English.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Able to work independently.
    • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
    • Excellent people skills.
    • Meets grooming standards.
    • Meets/exceeds customer expectations.
    • Computer experience helpful.
    • Meets or exceeds the team expectations.
    Hours
    • 12-21 hours per week, varied days and weekends.
