Health & Safety Advisor

We are working with a construction business looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to support health and safety standards across its construction sites and office operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an introductory Health & Safety qualification, current NEBOSH/IOSH studies or practical construction experience who is keen to build their knowledge and progress their career.

Working alongside an experienced Health & Safety Manager, you will receive guidance, training and ongoing support while taking responsibility for routine site inspections and helping ensure safe working practices are maintained. For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to develop into a full Health & Safety Advisor role as your experience and competence grow.

• Your responsibilities will include:
• Carrying out routine health and safety inspections across allocated construction sites.
• Identifying potential hazards and checking safe working practices, including PPE, access routes, welfare facilities, work at height and plant movements.
• Checking risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and helping ensure site teams follow agreed procedures.
