Year One Teacher - Full Time Long-Term Immediate Start After February Half Term Pontefract

We are seeking a committed and confident Year 1 Class Teacher to join a warm, welcoming primary school immediately after the February half term. This is a full-time

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering creative, engaging lessons that inspire pupils
• Supporting children's progress across phonics, maths, writing, and the wider curriculum
• Creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with staff, support teams, and parents
• Contributing to the wider life of a friendly and supportive school

To be successful, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching KS1, ideally Year One
• Excellent knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and strong phonics delivery
• A passion for pupil progress, wellbeing, and high-quality teaching
• Strong classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
