This is an opportunity to join us in making a significant difference to the students at St Wilfrid’s. As Learning Support Assistant, you will provide both academic and pastoral support to students with learning, behavioural, emotional, social difficulties, as well as those with EAL needs. This includes supporting the pastoral team and working collaboratively with all school staff including teachers, Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs), and Learning Support Assistants to ensure students are able to achieve their full academic and personal potential.

St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently over 1,400 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also inspected by the Catholic Inspection Service (Sec 48) in April 2024, with 7 out of 9 areas graded Outstanding.
