Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing business in Pontefract who are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
Location:
Pontefract
Salary: £42,500 per annum
Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days
The Role- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding on manufacturing machinery
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime
- Carrying out PPMs and ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard
- Fault finding on motors, sensors, inverters and other electrical components
- Mechanical maintenance including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings and gearboxes
- Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
- Experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Recognised engineering qualification – ideally NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent
- Confident with both electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Strong breakdown and preventative maintenance experience
- Comfortable working a 4 on 4 off day shift
