To independently manage a caseload of people with complex needs across the Hospice using evidence based, person centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in order to minimise disability and to maximise functional ability for in dependant or supported living.
To work collaboratively as a member of the Wellbeing Team, clinical teams and wider hospice.
To participate in the planning, development and evaluation of Physiotherapy Service, holding responsibility for defined projects.
The postholder will work independently with the Wellbeing and Community Lead to support the development of physiotherapy and hospice services.
Main duties of the jobWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality physiotherapy across all hospice services. You will independently manage a caseload of people with complex, life-limiting conditions, using evidence-based and person-centred approaches to maximise functional ability, comfort and quality of life.
Working as a key member of the Wellbeing & Community Team and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate physiotherapy interventions, adapting care to meet changing needs. You will also contribute to the development of physiotherapy and wellbeing services, lead defined projects, and support education, training and service innovation across the Hospice.
This role includes working closely with patients, families and carers, supporting informed choice, goal setting and self-management and acting as an advocate where appropriate.

To succeed in this role, you will have:Degree-level qualification in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration
Substantial post-qualification experience and ability to work autonomously
