Pay Rate: £15.55 per hour
Overtime Rate: £23.33 per hour after 45 hours

Monday to Friday | 07:00am – 17:15pm

Smart Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company within the waste and recycling sector, for an experienced HGV Class 2 RoRo Driver based in South Kirkby.

As an HGV Class 2 RoRo Driver, you will be responsible for the safe collection, transportation and delivery of waste materials using Roll‑On Roll‑Off vehicles. This is a single‑person operation, therefore some manual handling will be required as part of the role.

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 RoRo vehicles in accordance with road traffic and company regulations.
• Collect and transport waste materials to designated disposal and recycling facilities.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries and vehicle inspections.
• Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
• Deliver a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Follow all health & safety, environmental and waste management regulations.

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category
  
  C) Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• RoRo experience is preferred but not essential as training may be provided for the right candidate.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, professional and safety‑conscious approach.
