Anticipated Starting Salary: $5,417/month;
Full Range: $5,417 – $7,684/month

The Corrections Clerk II is assigned to the Pontiac Correctional Center Records Office. The role monitors assignment capacities, inputs cell status changes, holds call lines, and prepares the daily bed availability report to ensure accurate reporting to the Warden and Central Office by 8:30 a.m.

• Monitors individual in-custody assignment capacities.
• Inputs cell status changes on O360.
• Prepares the daily bed availability report and confirms that the Warden and Central Office receive a copy by 8:30 a.m.
• Holds individual in-custody call lines.
• Performs other duties as reasonably within scope of the duties enumerated above.

• High school diploma or equivalent (four years).
• Two years of clerical experience.

• Three years of experience monitoring and processing individual in-custody assignments.
• Three years of experience monitoring and processing vote sheets.
• Three years of experience inputting data into Offender 360.
• Three years of experience meeting with individuals in custody regarding placement.
• Three years of experience prioritizing work assignments.
• Three years of experience utilizing office methods and procedures.

• Pass IDOC/IDJJ background check.
• Pass a drug screen (unauthorized drugs prohibited).
• Abide by all vaccine and other medical standards as set out by the employer.
• Complete an approved guard training course within six months of employment.
• Utilize digital technology, tools, platforms, and processes to support digital enhancements and efficiency.

8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday;
Saturday & Sunday off.
