Driscoll Motor Co., Inc. Quick Lube is a locally owned and operated in Pontiac, Illinois area.

We are looking for a skilled Quick Lube Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for changing oil, inspecting the vehicle, checking out customers, and handling cash/credit card transactions with maximum accuracy.

Compensation

Hourly and based on Quick Lube experience, paid weekly up front. Your estimated annual income is $33,000 to 42,000.

Responsibilities
  • Quickly complete basic oil change process and small repairs such as changing wipers, plugs, and adding fluids as required.
  • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.) to achieve vehicle functionality and longevity.
  • Maintain equipment/tools and facility in good condition.
  • Observe all safety precautions to protect against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
  • Handle cash/credit card transactions on a PC.
  • Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Driscoll Motors group brand.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills
  • Experience as auto mechanic.
  • Ability to handle various tools (e.g., pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g., lift).
  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
  • Excellent physical condition.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of pre‑employment screening.

Previous mechanic experience a plus.
