Security Guard - Manufacturing Access Driver in Pontiac, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain order at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide exceptional customer service.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities.
• Assist with emergency response activities as necessary, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
