General SummaryDo you excel in a detail-driven environment where accuracy and organization make a real impact? As a Juvenile Court Support Clerk Senior, you’ll take on complex and specialized clerical responsibilities that keep the court’s daily operations running efficiently. You’ll prepare and process legal documents, review case files for accuracy, and assist attorneys, judges, and the public with court procedures. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured setting, values precision, and enjoys being part of meaningful work that supports the justice system and the families it serves.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Review and process court documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal procedures.
- Assist attorneys, the public, and court personnel by explaining filing procedures and providing case-related information.
- Prepare, file, and distribute orders, notices, and other documents required to schedule and manage hearings.
- Verify legal documents for conformance with court rules and, as authorized, sign for the judge on certain matters.
- Play a vital role in supporting fair and efficient court operations that serve youth and families.
- Use your clerical expertise in a professional environment where accuracy and organization are highly valued.
- Collaborate with experienced legal professionals and gain deeper insight into court processes.
- Contribute to meaningful work that supports access to justice and helps the court function smoothly.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) Test.
- Have had at least three (3) years of full-time work experience in the Circuit or Probate Court.
USD $47,509.00 - USD $63,652.00 /Yr.
