Medical Oncology & Hematology Physician (Outpatient Clinic)

Seeking a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage due to a recruitment gap. This assignment supports an established oncology/hematology clinic with comprehensive onsite resources and multidisciplinary support.

Assignment Details

• Coverage Dates:
  January 19, 2026 July 31, 2026

• Practice Setting:
  Outpatient oncology and hematology clinic

• Schedule:
  
  Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

• Call:
  Clinic call only, as needed

• Average Patient Volume: outpatient visits per day

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient medical oncology care

• Outpatient hematology care

• Participation in tumor board activities

Practice Support & Resources

• Formerly a two-physician practice with NP support

• Support staff includes oncology RNs, medical assistants, social worker, dietitian, and nurse navigator

• Onsite services include an infusion center and onsite CBC testing

• Recruitment for a permanent physician is ongoing

EMR

• Cerner (familiarity preferred)

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology

• Active Michigan medical license

• BLS and ACLS certifications

• Local candidates only (no flights)

• Availability must be provided at time of name clear

• NPDB self-query required (pulled within 30 days of presentation)
